Harrington is a small fishing village located at the mouth of the Manning River in New South Wales, Australia . It is north-east of Taree on the Mid North Coast, and 335 kilometres (208 mi) north east of the state capital, Sydney. At the 2006 census, Harrington had a population of 1,753.[1]
The town is currently growing exponentially due to the construction of the Harrington Waters golf course, shopping village and housing estate in the area.
