Mr. Hastings Henry Macleay Baker, of Greenhill, who passed away on Monday, aged 65 years, was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Baker, of Kempsey. The late Mr. Baker was possessed by a very happy and generous nature, and was held in high regard by a wide circle of friends. He is survived by his wife, who was Miss Rosie Rose prior to her marriage, three married daughters and Miss Heather Baker (at home), and two sons, James and Kenneth Baker. Brothers of deceased are Messrs. Hosten. Charles, Laurie, Gordon, Raymond, Goulburn and Arnold Baker; while sisters are Mrs. G. Dell (Armidale) and Mrs. A. Clinch (Kempsey). The funeral, under conduct of Messrs. Harry B. and Jos T. Walker, will take place to East Kempsey cemetery to-day (Wednesday), leaving the funeral parlour at 11 a.m.
