Biography
Heinrich VI. von Braunschweig, Pfalzgraf bei Rhein, was born 1195 to Heinrich V. von Braunschweig (1175-1227) and Agnes von der Pfalz (1176-1204) and died 1 May 1214 of unspecified causes. He married Machteld van Brabant (c1200-1267) 1212 JL in Aachen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
Henry died childless on the 16th or 26 April 1214. He was buried in Schönau Abbey near Heidelberg. He was succeeded as Count Palatine by his brother-in-law, the Duke Louis I of Bavaria.
