Biography
Henry FitzHerbert Wright was born 9 October 1870 in "The Hayes", Swanwick, Derbyshire, England, United Kingdom to FitzHerbert Wright (1841-1910) and Charlotte Rudolphine Louise von Beckman (c1847-1932) and died 23 February 1947 Yeldersley Hall, Derbyshire, England, United Kingdom of unspecified causes. He married Muriel Harriet Fletcher (1873-1953) 13 September 1894 in St Mark's Church, Kennington, Greater London, England, United Kingdom.
He was educated at Eton and Cambridge and became a lawyer. He later joined the family business, the Butterley Company. He was also an alderman on the Derbyshire Council for many years and a Member of Parliament. In 1894 he married Muriel Harriet Fletcher (1873-1953) and they had two sons and six daughters. They are both shown in the photograph below at Yeldersley Hall with some of their grandchildren.
