Biography
Henry Knox was born 25 July 1750 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, United States to William Knox (1710-1760) and Mary Campbell (1725-) and died 25 October 1806 Thomaston, Maine, United States of unspecified causes. He married Lucy Flucker (1750-1824) 16 June 1774 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, United States.
He was a military officer of the Continental Army and later the United States Army, who also served as the first United States Secretary of War from 1789 to 1794.
