Ensign Henry Lunt Jr was born 20 February 1653 in Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts to Henry Lunt (1610-1662) and Anne Carrington (1614-1678) and died 15 October 1709 Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts of unspecified causes. He married Jane Brown (1653-1737) 1676 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.

Henry Lunt Jr. was a military officer on the ship Lion,sworn in Boston, Massachusetts. age 27 (Ensign Henry Lunt)." Henrys dad was also Henry born 12/21/1610 Highworth England. His mother Ann Carrington b.1620 England d.1678 Newbury. They were one of the first settlers of Newbury, Massachusetts. His dad was Thomas Lunt b. England d.7/8/1627 South Marston.

Thomas book gives Ensign Henrys wife as Jane Skipper - (typo Jane Skipper was the mother of Henrys wife Jane Browne. Walters book give Ensign Henrys wife as Jane Browne.

Jane Browne parents were Abraham Browne and Jane(Skipper)Browne. After Henry's death Jane remarried Joseph Mayo 10/29/1712.
