Henry Weigall was born 1829 to Henry Weigall (1798-1882) and Selina Smith (c1801-1883) and died 1925 of unspecified causes. He married Rose Sophia Mary Fane (1834-1921) 15 August 1866 in Westminster Abbey, Greater London, England, United Kingdom.

Henry, sometimes called "Henry Weigall Jnr.", was part of a very talented family. His father was a sculptor, gem engraver, die-sinker and modeller.

Henry painted numerous portraits of well-known people, including Prime minister Disraeli, and created sculptures.

In 1919, Henry, who had become a JP, and his wife donated to the Ramsgate Football Club the land occupied by Southwood Stadium.
