Obituary

MR. HENRY WILLIAM BRIDGE

An old pioneer of the Ellalong district in the person of Mr. Henry William Bridge passed away during the week, at the age of 85 years.
The late Mr. Bridge was born at Ellalong, christened in the church at Ellalong, married in the same church, and the service following his death was conducted in the church on his 63rd wedding anniversary. For many years deceased conducted the post office at Ellalong.
He is survived by a family of eight sons and four daughters.
The interment took place yesterday, in the Church of England portion of Ellalong cemetery. Rev. Ayscough officiated, assisted by Canon Campbell and Canon Reese.
The funeral was largely attended. The Masonic Order was also represented, the service being conducted by Bro. J. R. Smith.
