Ian Percival (Percy) renamed himself Michael Forlong and had a distinguished career as a film maker.
He wrote an assessment of the early links in the Forlong/de Forlonge family tree suggesting that the descent from Counts "de Forlonge" of Languedoc was probably fiction. This was just a personal opinion of his and not based on facts. Other relatives agree with his assessment.
