She married Ivor Miles Windsor-Clive (1889-1943) 14 July 1921 .
Lady Irene Corona Charteris was born on 31 May 1902.2 She was the daughter of Hugo Richard Charteris, 11th Earl of Wemyss and Mary Constance Wyndham.1,2 She married Ivor Miles Windsor-Clive, 2nd Earl of Plymouth, son of Robert George Windsor-Clive, 1st Earl of Plymouth and Alberta Victoria Sarah Caroline Paget, on 14 July 1921.2 She died in 1989.1
Her married name became Windsor-Clive. After her marriage, Lady Irene Corona Charteris was styled as Countess of Plymouth on 6 March 1923. She was appointed Dame of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.)1
