Isaac Ball III was born 16 February 1787 in Wilmington, Windham County, Vermont to Isaac Ball (1747-1809) and Hannah Cummings (1757-) and died 26 March 1865 East Hickory, Forest County, Pennsylvania of unspecified causes. He married Sarah Manross (1792-1853) 2 October 1814 in Bristol, Addison County, Vermont.

Gravestone of Isaac Ball III at Riverside East Hickory Cemetery.
Started the first grist mill in Forest County, in the early 1800's with his brother in-law William Manross & Luther Barnes. Married first Sarah/ Sally Manross with whom he had 11 children, after her death he married her sister Lovina Manross. Balltown, Forest County is named after him.
Buried up towards East Hickory Creek, gave the land for the cemetery to the community. All the children and spouses had to sign the quit claim on the deed for the cemetery.
2003 Tombstone is now busted off.
