Isabella Laughton was born 22 July 1841 in St Albans, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia to John Laughton (1815-1901) and Charlotte Gutsell (1819-1891) and died 1 March 1912 Oreston, Caledonia-street Kogarah, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia of unspecified causes. She married Samuel Watkins (1843-1941) 28 October 1864 in Laughtondale, City of Hawkesbury, New South Wales, Australia.
Her son-in-law, Albert Parry as undertaker, took care of her funeral arrangements and Isabella was taken back to Mangrove Creek where she was laid to rest. It was reasonable common in those times for family members, particularly in remote communities, to assume the responsiblity and tasks of grave diggers, preparation of a body, coffin construction and even conduct of the funeral service. It is not known to what extent Albert was called upon to perform these duties.
