Biography
Ivan V of Russia, czar of Russia, was born 6 September 1666 in Moscow, Russia to Aleksei Mikhailovich of Russia (1629-1676) and Maria Ilyinichna Miloslavskaya (1625-1669) and died 8 February 1696 Moscow, Russia of unspecified causes. He married Praskovia Saltuikova (1664-1723) 9 January 1684 .
He was a joint Tsar of Russia (with his younger half-brother Peter I) who co-reigned between 1682 and 1696. However he was described as "infirm in body and mind".
