Jacob Meester was born 18 July 1781 in Bangert, Andijk, North Holland, Netherlands to Dirk Meester (1746-1822) and Jantje Beers (1751-1817) and died 12 November 1841 Wervershoof, North Holland, Netherlands of unspecified causes. He married Antje Weel (c1784-aft1811) 6 May 1804 .
Note that there are various accounts of his life. In one, he has a daughter, Grietje, born in 1789. In another, his wife is Aagje Weel. He may have been confused with an uncle of the same name.
