James Harvey Morris was born 1895 in St Albans, New South Wales, Australia to Price Morris (1860-1936) and Eliza Walker (1860-1925) and died 12 September 1951 Wyong, New South Wales, Australia of unspecified causes. He married Arline Orphir Bond (c1901-1953) 1929 in Gosford, New South Wales, Australia.





Obituary

Mr. J. H. Morris

Mr. James Harvey Morris passed away at the age of 55 after spending over 40 years in the Wyong district.

He came to Wyong from the Hawkesbury River and at the age of 14 was suddenly stricken with arthritis, signalling the start of a fight in the face of adversity which provided a good test for the that indomitable courage, which marked his years in Wyong.

Before his death was promiently connected with the Wyong District Agricultural Association. He is survived by a widow, Mrs. Arline Morris, brothers Harold (Singleton), Walter (Wyong), and Ruby, his sister (Mrs. Douglas), of Wyong. Brothers Alfred and Herbert, and sisters Florence and Marion, predeceased him. His parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. P. Morris. His funeral took place last Friday afternoon in the Methodist portion of the Jilliby cemetery after a service in the Wyong Methodist Church, Rev. McKinnon officiating.
