Biography
Jane Gibson is the daughter of Phoebe Whipple and Benjamin Gibson.
She was the second wife to John Franklin Sanders marrying on March 22, 1858 in Brigham Young's Office in Salt Lake City, Utah.
They had six children: Phebe Jane Sanders, Amanda Ann Sanders, Amy Elmira Sanders, William Franklin Sanders, Ellen Clymena Sanders and Joseph Myron Sanders.
Mary Irene Clement Sanders is the other wife.
Jane Gibson Sanders, 86, died May 26, 1929 at 8:30 p.m. in Mesa, Maricopa County, Utah of gastro enteritis due to myocarditis.
She was born October 11, 1843 in Ohio to Phoebe Whipple Gibson and Bingham Gibson. She was preceded in death by her husband.
Interment was made in the City of Mesa Cemetery on May 27, 1929. Meldrum Mortuary handled the funeral arrangements.
