She married Valentine W. Young (c1800-1843) 1826 in Rhode Island , United States . She married William Stringham 1844 in Nauvoo , Hancock County , Illinois , United States . She married Brigham Young (1801-1877) 28 February 1846 in Nauvoo , Hancock County , Illinois , United States .
Her first husband was Valentine W. Young of Rhode Island . The couple moved to New York, where they joined the Mormon Church, and then to Kirtland, Ohio . Valentine died about 1843. In 1844, Jemima married William Stringham in Nauvoo, Illinois . In 1846 she was sealed to Mormon leader Brigham Young as one of his plural wives, along with her sister, Mary Ann Angell (1808-1882) and mother Phebe Ann Morton (1786-1854) . She died in Wanship, Utah , in 1869. Her burial place is uncertain.
