The name of Jeremiah Bingham is shown upon an account in Army Books as a private in Major Allen's Company of Col Putnam's Reg, and credited for his services from Feb 20 1777 to Dec 31 1779. And again for his further service as a private in Capt Goodale's Company, Col Putnam's Reg, from 01 Jan 1780 to 31 Dec 1780. He received 200 acres of land for his service.
