Biography

Jocelyn Sidney, 7th Earl of Leicester, was born circa 1692 to Robert Sidney, 4th Earl of Leicester (1649-1702) and Elizabeth Egerton (1653-1709) and died 7 July 1743 of unspecified causes.

He succeeded his brother in 1734, but died without legitimate issue in 1743, when the titles of Earl of Leicester and Viscount Lisle became extinct.
