Obituary
Mr. John Barnes (77), of Marsden St., Parramatta, died suddenly at his residence last Friday. He leaves a widow and six sons (Leslie, Ernest, Sydney, Jack, Roy and Milton). A daughter (Vera) predeceased him. Born at Parramatta, deceased conducted a produce business at Harris Park and Parramatta South for many years. The funeral left the residence on Sunday afternoon for the Western Road Cemetery, Parramatta. Arrangements were in the hands of William Metcalfe and Co. Ltd., Parramatta.
