John Boyle was born 13 March 1803 to Edmund Boyle, 8th Earl of Cork (1767-1856) and Isabella Henrietta Poyntz (c1768-1843) and died 6 December 1874 of unspecified causes. He married Cecilia FitzGerald-de Ros (1811-1869) 10 December 1835 .
