Biography
Johann Casimir von Sachsen-Coburg, Herzog von Sachsen-Coburg, was born 12 June 1564 in Gotha, Thuringia, Germany to Johann Friedrich II. von Sachsen (1529-1595) and Elisabeth von der Pfalz (1540-1594) and died 16 July 1633 Coburg, Bavaria, Germany of unspecified causes. He married Anna von Sachsen (1567-1613) 16 January 1586 in Dresden, Saxony, Germany. He married Margarethe von Braunschweig-Lüneburg (1573-1643) 16 September 1599 in Coburg, Bavaria, Germany.
Because he was childless, his inheritance fell to his brother Johann Ernst von Sachsen-Eisenach.
