John Cecil, 4th Earl of Exeter, was born 1628 to David Cecil, 3rd Earl of Exeter (c1604-1643) and Elizabeth Egerton (bef1612-1688) and died 18 March 1678 of unspecified causes. He married Frances Manners (1630-1660) 8 December 1646 . He married Mary Fane (1639-1681) 24 January 1670 .
