John Chenery apparently had a hog farm. There are recorded many complaints for his animals running loose.
Sarah Church, wife of Garrett Church (1611-1662), on 6 February 1662/3 was one of those who complained against John Chenery (1623-1675) "for his defect in not regulating his swine according to town order".
