John Child, Sr. was born circa 1636 in Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts to William Child (1596-1650) and Mary Sadler (1595-1622) and died 15 October 1671 Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts of unspecified causes. He married Mary Warren (1651-1734) 1660 in Massachusetts.
Biography
John Child, third son and child of William Child was born after his parents removal to America, in 1636 in Watertown MA. He married to Mary Warren (1651-1734), granddaughter of immigrant and Watertown founder, John Warren.
John Warren (1585-1667) came to America with Gov Wintrhop on the Arabella in 1630 and it is believed through strong circumstantial evidence that John's father and uncle were both on the same ship.
