John was christened on 26 April 1635 at Crowhurst. In 1648 he moved to St Mary in the Castle, Hastings. John married Anne Mary Wimble, daughter of William Wimble and Mary, on 27 Apr 1669 in Crowhurst. He was buried on 30 March 1685 at Crowhurst.
