Biography

John Fuller, Sr. was born in 1647 in Salem, Massachusetts Bay Colony. He was the son of Robert Fuller and Sarah Bowen. John Fuller married Abigail Titus on 25 April 1673 in Rehoboth, Plymouth Colony, now Bristol County, Massachusetts. John Fuller died before 23 August 1676 in Rehoboth, Plymouth Colony, now Bristol County, Massachusetts. He was killed by Indians in King Philip's War. He was buried on 23 August 1676 in Rehoboth, Plymouth Colony, now Bristol County, Massachusetts.

King Philips War

The family home of Robert Fuller (1616-1706) in Rehoboth, Massachusetts was burned in an Indian attack during King Philip's War; Sarah and two of their sons were killed within a few months of each other. Robert returned to Salem , and married his second wife Margaret Felton there.

At least two sons, Samuel and John, along with his first wife Sarah and son-in-law Nehemiah Sabin, were killed during King Philip's War in 1676.
