Research Notes

1762 Chesterfield Home

"John, the grandfather of Levi, moved to Chesterfield, New Hampshire, about 1762, and soon after built a home there which is still standing in a good state of preservation. It has the original fine hand rubbed polished wood on the staircase, mantlepiece, cupboards and doors, walls and ceilings."

From the book "Snow - History of Levi and Lucina Streeter Snow Family" compiled by Bess Snow circa 1946
