TOOWOOMBA, Sunday.—Joseph Jurd, 83, of 194 James Street, Toowoomba, was found dead in bed by his wife this afternoon. He had been in indifferent health. He had been in Toowoomba for eight weeks, having come to Toowoomba from Brisbane.

JURD.—At Toowoomba, on May 28th, 1939, Joseph Jurd, late of Empire Vale and Ballina, New South Wales. Aged 83 years and 10 months.
