Josiah Hatch was born 30 May 1680 in Scituate, Massachusetts Bay Colony to Samuel Hatch (1653-1735) and Mary Doty (c1653-bef1729) and died circa 12 January 1714 Rochester, Massachusetts Bay Colony of unspecified causes. He married Desire Hawes (1681-c1723) 24 February 1701 in Yarmouth, Massachusetts Bay Colony.
