Sir Julian Henry Hall of Dunglass, 11th Bt. was born on 22 February 1907.1 He was the son of Sir Martin Julian Hall of Dunglass, 10th Bt. and Alice Mary Hasler.2 He died on 28 January 1974 at age 66, unmarried.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was editor of Colour between 1931 and 1932.1 He wrote the book Laura Seaborne.1 He wrote the book The Senior Commoner.1 He was an actor with the Norwich Players.1 He wrote the book Two Exiles.1 He fought in the Second World War, with Intelligence Corps and Special Forces.1 He was with the Home Talks Department, BBC between 1948 and 1951.1 He was a drama critic and obituarist for The Times.1 He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Hall, of Dunglass [N.S., 1687] on 31 January 1958.1
