Julius Osterkamp, the third child of Hicke Osterkamp and the former Caroline Nicolai, was born in St. Louis in November 1858.
Julius died on August 11, 1860, three months before his second birthday. He was buried at Holy Ghost Cemetery, later renamed Picker's Cemetery and now Gatewood Gardens Cemetery.
