Kálmán Ödön Fáy was colonel of huszars. He was adopted by his uncle Jenő Fáy (1843-1910) who conferred him his aristocratic privileges on March 11, 1887, recorded in Liber Regius, Volume LIX, p. 9. He was killed in action on the last days of World War I.
