Karl Emil von Fürstenberg was born 16 February 1867 in Prague, Czech Republic to Maximilian Egon I. von Fürstenberg (1822-1873) and Leontine von Khevenhüller-Metsch (1843-1914) and died 21 February 1945 Strobl, Austria of unspecified causes. He married Mária Matild Georgina Festetics von Tolna (1881-1953) 23 July 1902 in Keszthely, Hungary.
