Katherine of Lancaster was born 6 June 1372 in Hertford Castle, Hertford, Hertfordshire, England, United Kingdom to John of Gaunt, 1st Duke of Lancaster (1340-1399) and Constance of Castile (1354-1394) and died 2 June 1418 Valladolid, Spain of unspecified causes. She married Henry III of Castile (1379-1405) September 1388 JL in Palencia, Spain.
