Klátova Nová Ves (Former name before 1927: Klatnovejsa; Hungarian: Tőkésújfalu, German: Stockneudorf) is a village and commune in Partizánske District in the Trenčín Region of western Slovakia.

History[]

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1310. It belonged to the Kingdom of Hungary until 1918. The village was merged with the former independent village of Sádok in 1900 and the village of Janova Ves in 1976.

Geography[]

The village lies at an altitude of 199 metres and covers an area of 35.038 km². It had a population of 1669 people end of 2015.
