Laguna is a village south of Wollombi, New South Wales. It is serviced by a general store and has a public school.
History[]
The establishment, development and significance of the village of Laguna was directly connected with the construction and importance of the Great North Road in the early 19th century. A large land grant of 1,000 acres (405 ha) was allocated to Heneage Finch, where he built Laguna House. He sold the property to Richard Wiseman.
