Sir Laurence Warren, knight, of Poynton and Stockport, born about 1394, died 1444. Married to Margaret, daughter of Richard Bulkeley by Margery Venables his wife. This couple had three sons, John, Randle and Edward but little is known of the latter two. There were six daughters, Margery, Joan, Cicely, Margaret and Elizabeth and one who is known only for marrying Thurstan de Holland but whose Christian name is unrecorded.
