She married George S Cannon (1766-1811) 3 February 1794 in Patrick, Isle of Man, England.
Biography
Leonora Callister, born in 1775, was the youngest daughter of David Callister and Abigail Mylchreest. She married George Cannon when she was 19 (He was 28), and bore nine children. She was wideowed at age 36, and lived to be 57.
The early death of her husband created a serious financial problem for her and her family. They had a home and some belongings, but were left without the generous income which George had provided. They rented their home to strangers, and Leonora and the smaller children moved to a small house. The older children, George and Leonora, went to England to shift for themselves.
