Leopold IV. Friedrich von Anhalt-Dessau, Herzog von Anhalt-Dessau, Herzog von Anhalt-Köthen, Herzog von Anhalt-Bernburg, Herzog von Anhalt, was born 1 October 1794 in Dessau, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany to Friedrich von Anhalt-Dessau (1769-1814) and Amalie von Hessen-Homburg (1774-1846) and died 22 May 1871 Dessau, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany of unspecified causes. He married Frederica Wilhelmina Louise von Preußen (1796-1850) 18 April 1818 in Berlin.
