Leopold von Anhalt-Köthen, Fürst von Anhalt-Köthen, was born 29 November 1694 in Köthen, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany to Emanuel Lebrecht von Anhalt-Köthen (1671-1704) and Gisela Agnes von Rath (1669-1740) and died 29 November 1728 Köthen, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany of smallpox. He married Friederike Henriette von Anhalt-Bernburg (1702-1723) 11 December 1721 in Bernburg, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. He married Charlotte Friederike von Nassau-Siegen (1702-1785) 27 June 1725 in Weimar, Thuringia, Germany.
