Obituary
CASINO, Sunday.—A former resident of Casino district, Mrs. Louisa Sneesby, died at her home, 5 Tulloch Avenue, Concord West, Sydney, at the age of 87. Mrs. Sneesby was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Ellem, of the Clarence River district, where she spent the early years of her life. When 22 she married Mr. Henry Sneesby, of Ulmarra, at Woolgoola. They came to Wardell where Mr. Sneesby was engaged in cane farming for some years. Later they moved to Brooklet and took up dairying. They remained there until Mr. Sneesby's death in 1914. Mrs. Sneesby had since resided with some of her family in Sydney. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Hamilton (Kyogle), Mrs. R. Little, Mrs. T. White (Woolner's Arm), Mrs. L. McMonigal (North Strathfield) and Mrs. E. Wilson (Concord West), and a son, Ray (Katoomba). Another son, Arthur, predeceased her in 1924. Burial took place in the independent portion of Rookwood Cemetery after a service at the Metropolitan funeral parlours, Burwood.
