He married Marie-Therèse von Várady Szakmáry (1866-c1940) 11 April 1887 in Levoča, Levoča District, Slovakia, Austria-Hungary.
Ludwig Brunswik von Korompa was an officer in the Austrian-Hungarian army. He was promoted general-major on August 2, 1917.
