Lydia Lew Stickler was born circa 1824 in Pucklechurch, Bristol (Pucklechurch+ Bristol+ England) to James Stickler (c1793-1855) and Sarah Angell (1797-1863) and died 1 June 1894 of unspecified causes. She married William Goodman (c1823-?) 18 April 1848 in Bristol.
It’s unclear whether Lydia’s middle name is Low or Lew; she had a Bristol Diocese baptism, and when she married William they lived in Lilliput Cottages and worked for a local farmer.
Lydia was illiterate and placed an X as her mark on her daughter's birth certificate.
Their daughter ‘Hannah’ died of Breast Cancer and their son ‘Charles’ moved to East Hampshire.
