Mátészalka is a town in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County, Northern Great Plain Region of eastern Hungary.
Geography[]
It covers an area of 41.81 km2 (16 sq mi) and has a population of 17,015 people (2011).
The town was the birthplace of actor Tony Curtis' father.
