Mahendra Prasad Burman was born in Ranchi, Jharkhand on 16 July 1951. His father, Late Shribhuvan Shaw was a jeweller and started his first jewellery shop in 1980. Following in his father's footsteps, M.P. Burman opened his jewellery Shop in 2013, Shridhar Jewellers was founded by Mahendra Prasad Burman. who opened his first jewellery shop in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India.

He married Usha Burman.
Death Reason
Mahendra Prasad had been suffering with depression for a few months. Due to which his health deteriorated. Because of which he died on 19 May 2019.
