Margaret Stewart was born 25 December 1424 in Perth, Perthshire, Scotland, United Kingdom to James I of Scotland (1394-1437) and Joan Beaufort (c1406-1445) and died 16 August 1445 Châlons-sur-Marne, France of unspecified causes. She married Louis XI de Valois (1423-1483) 24 June 1436 JL in Tours, France.
