Margarethe von Braunschweig-Lüneburg was born 6 April 1573 in Celle, Lower Saxony, Germany to Wilhelm von Braunschweig-Lüneburg (1535-1592) and Dorothea of Denmark (1546-1617) and died 7 August 1643 Celle, Lower Saxony, Germany of unspecified causes. She married Johann Casimir von Sachsen-Coburg (1564-1633) 16 September 1599 in Coburg, Bavaria, Germany.
