Mary Ann Chick was born 13 September 1838 in Chillington, Somerset, England, United Kingdom to William Chick (c1812-1892) and Eliza Jane Hardy (c1806-1879) and died 6 August 1908 Pokolbin, New South Wales, Australia of diabetes melitus, exhaustion, heart failure. She married Joseph Drayton (1825-1887) 11 February 1855 St Johns in Branxton, New South Wales, Australia.
She arrived in New South Wales on 3 September 1854 on the Tantivy with her parents.
