On marriage certificate: Married on 9 Dec 1878, in Trinity Church at Orange, N.S.W. Bridegroom - Henry Whiteley, farmer, lived 'near Orange', bachelor. Bride - Mary Ann Dobson, lived 'near Orange', spinster. Consent for Mary given by her father Josiah Dobson, father of the bride. Celebrant was F.B. Boyce, officiating minister, according to rites of Church of England and witnessed by Charles Whiteley and Isabella Whiteley. Registered at Orange.

On death certificate: Mary was 76 years when she died on 25th August 1949. She died of Senile myocarditis, the medical attendant was N. Dobell Brown and he last saw her the day before she died.
